Headaches are very common, it is estimated that at any one time 15% of Australians are taking some form of pain relieving medication for a headache.
There are many different causes of headache, for example:
- Muscle Tension – neck, shoulders or back are most common
- Dental or jaw problems
- Eye Problems
- Poor posture
- Exposure to Noise
- Neck or Spine Injury
- High Blood Pressure
As Physiotherapists, our treatment focus will be on the muscular and skeletal causes which make up a significant proportion of all headaches.
